Pepper-Love Process Established in 1975

As with all great recipes, this one started with a blend of passion, love, and the best ingredients. Fred Canzonetta’s eternal respect for those three components comes through in each bite of Papa Canzonetta’s Pepper blends. 

It all started in the garage of the Canzonetta home back in 1975, in Warren, Ohio.  This place was the proverbial “pepper palace”. Fred’s children, Mark, Jeff and Angela were engaged in the family’s passion from the very beginning.  They were put to work cutting countless pounds of Ohio-grown hungarian wax peppers. Friends helped by putting their taste buds to work to create the perfect blend of proprietary oil and vinegar blends--plus a variety of spices. Truth be told, a few of those friends went on to create their own pepper brands, but Papa Fred, well, he was the premiere prince of them all!  His royal blend is now the Original Blend and it has the perfect blend of heat, crunch and zest.  This blend lends itself to enhance almost any dish… Don’t believe us? It’s okay. Papa Canzonetta can add pepper pizazz to any dish. After all, Pete shoulda picked a peck of Papa’s Peppers!
